Gilt bronze hilt. Guard with five branches decorated with lines forming a shell. Cap with a short tail, decorated with lines, scalloped edges. Entirely filigreed brass handle. Curved blade with hollow edges, 75.4 cm long, 2.5 cm wide at the base, engraved on the first third with weapons trophies and floral motifs, signed at the base on a gold background "Goze Md fourbir à Metz".
