Enlistment certificate as a Musketeer "on foot" for François Carpentier, as a cavalry lieutenant and former brigadier of the Musketeers. With the original signature of Marquis de la Grange, Lieutenant General of the King's armies, and Captain Lieutenant of the 2nd Company.

Excerpt from the registration record. No. 140 for Mr. Carpentier François, born on October 30, 1779, in Soissons, Aisne department. Musketeer of the 2nd Company, cavalry lieutenant since July 22, 1814, discharged on December 31, 1815. Participated in the 1815 campaign with the Princes.
