Gilt bronze hilt. Guard decorated with oak and laurel branches and scallop shells. Relief-moulded hilt with a naval anchor surmounted by a crown on a background of flag bundles, all framed by oak and laurel branches. Folding counter-guard. Pommeau with scallop shells and palm leaves. Horn handle filigreed with gilt brass. Ferrules with oblique ridges. Straight double-edged blade, length 71.5 cm.
