Brass hilt. Guard with three branches, with a stamp on the main branch and serial number "41604." Short tang cap. Handle made of wood covered in black waxed calf leather, with brass filigree. Straight blade with hollow facets, 87 cm long, engraved on the back "Mre d'Armes de Châtt mai 1885 = cavrie légère mle 1882." Natural buffalo tie. Steel scabbard with one suspension ring.

Saber in very good condition, scabbard in good condition with usual oxidation.
