HUNTING DAGGER WITH THE CIPHER OF NICHOLAS II, Tsarist Period. 29922

Of traditional shape, metal parts in silvered metal. Pommel surmounted by an eagle's head, crossguard with inverted quillons ending in a stag hoof. Stag horn grip, on which is affixed the Cipher of Nicholas II topped by the imperial crown of the Romanovs, in gilded brass.
Ferrule enhanced with a series of oak leaves.
Guard piece overloaded with the crowned double-headed eagle carrying in its talons a crown bearing the Cipher of Nicholas II.
Blade in damascus steel with a single edge, etched with scrolling foliage and leaf garlands engraved in relief and gilded, as well as the Cipher of Nicholas II on one side, and on the other side, the crowned double-headed Tsarist eagle carrying symbols of power, sceptre and orb.
Small leather piece below the crossguard providing waterproofing with the scabbard.
Scabbard in silvered brass, button for wearing on the belt at the top, decorated with a bird. On the entire outer face, scrolling foliage and leaf garlands.
