MILITARY MEDAL WITH BIFACE SUSPENSION RING KNOWN AS THE 3rd TYPE "DES VERSAILLAIS" 1870-1873, created in 1870, Third Republic.
Military medal, designed by Désiré Albert Barre, in silver and enamel, with the hallmark of a boar's head, featuring on the obverse side the profile portrait of the Republic wearing a crown, bordered by a blue enamel ribbon with the legend "RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE - 1870 -" and surrounded by a wreath of laurel leaves. On the reverse, a central medallion with the inscription "VALEUR ET DISCIPLINE," bordered by a blue enamel ribbon, and on the reverse, the same wreath of laurel leaves.
Biface suspension ring, fixed, attached to the medal, featuring an armory trophy, but missing the back of the cuirass.
Ribbon in yellow silk bordered by two light green vertical stripes.
INTERALLIED COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL 1914-1918, established in 1922, Third Republic.
Round-shaped, in bronze with the hallmark of the Paris Mint, Ø 3.5 cm, showing on the obverse side the winged allegory of Victory armed with a sword and shield bearing the Latin inscription "PAX." On the reverse, a female allegory of Victory and an oak leaf branch framing the legend "LA GRANDE GUERRE POUR LA CIVILISATION."
Silk ribbon identical for all nations, featuring two juxtaposed rainbows separated by red.
COMBATANT'S CROSS, established in 1930, in bronze, hallmarks on the reverse from the Paris Mint, engraving by Doumenc.
