In carmine cloth with a black cloth band, decorated at the front with an embroidered insignia in golden threads and bullion depicting a sword and two crossed keys framed by an oak branch and a laurel branch. Band topped with a gold trim braid. Carmine cloth cap decorated with a mixed black and gold braid forming a Hungarian knot. Headgear adorned on all four sides with a mixed black and gold braid. False chinstrap in gold trimmings, with gold brass half-bell buttons. Black varnished leather visor in a round shape, lined underneath with a green waxed sheepskin. Interior headband composed of black varnished leather at the top and a pale green silk cap. Cap lined with a black varnished sheepskin stamped with the manufacturer's mark "FÉLIX 27 RUE DES MARCHANDS AVIGNON".
