Brass hilt. Guard with two branches forming an openwork shell decorated with scrolls and mouldings, with in its center the naval anchor surmounted by an imperial crown. Pommel with a long tail richly decorated with scallop shells and a naval anchor. Horn handle with filigree brass. Straight blade with hollow sides, length 54.5 cm, blued and decorated with scrolls on its first half. Black varnished leather scabbard with three brass fittings, chape and central bracelet decorated with a naval anchor surmounted by the imperial crown, tip of the scabbard finished with a dard in the shape of a scallop shell.

Good condition, blade having lost some of its bluing, some surface oxidations, with its original rounded tip (for a child), scabbard varnish chipped.
