Made of black felt, with two horns, worn facing forward. Fully bordered with a gold passementerie trim with scalloped edges, the front adorned with a tricolor silk cockade Ø 7.5 cm, a gold-plated brass button Ø 2.5 cm, and a loop passing around the button composed of three thickly twisted soutache cords. Interior cap consists of a black varnished leather headband topped with a black silk cap.
Height at the front 11 cm, height at the back 20 cm, width 42.5 cm, Ø of the cap approximately 18 cm.
