Gilt bronze hilt. Single-branch guard. Key decorated with the caduceus with a mirror surrounded by a branch of oak and laurel on a background of a bundle of flags. Folding counter-guard. Pommel with a short decorative tail of Jupiter’s spindle. Filigree brass handle with horn grip. Brass ferrules decorated with laurel branches. Double-edged blade, length 83.5 cm. Natural buffalo cravat. Steel scabbard with a single ring for the suspension strap. Officer's small dress sword knot with black silk cord, tassel, and gold trimmings.

Good condition, worn sword knot. Missing screw at the entrance of the scabbard, but the sword fits securely in place.
