Single-piece brass hilt with a single-branch guard stamped "Versailles", marked with the numbers "350", "C" and two other illegible stamps. Handle with 28 strands. Slightly curved flat blade, 58.2 cm long, back marked "Manufacture Impériale de Klingenthal January 1812", stamped with an "A" under a star for inspector J.F. Alpy, January to March 1812; "B" for first class controller J.G. Bick, February 1809 to August 1824; and "L" for F.L. Lobstein, inspector from June 1804 to July 1821. Leather scabbard with two brass fittings and a pommel cap stamped with a "B" under the star of E.L. Borson, inspector at Klingenthal from August 1814 to September 1816.

Good condition, blade with oxidation from use, scabbard replaced during the Restoration period (slightly shorter than the blade, by 1 cm).
