Brass monobloc hilt with a guard with a single branch stamped "B" under an L.C. Balaran star, serving as the director at the Klingenthal manufacturing plant from January 1834 to 1836, and "S" under a star. Handle with 28 strands. Slightly curved flat blade, length 62.2 cm. Natural leather knot. Leather scabbard with two brass fittings, with a chape and an elongated hook.
