Brass hilt. Four-branch guard with the serial number "29962." Cap with a short tail. Wooden handle covered in black waxed calfskin, with brass wire filigree. Straight blade with Montmorency profile, back engraved with "Manufacture Imperiale de Chat fautrier 1864 Dragon model 1854." Length of 92.5 cm. Natural buffalo cravat. Steel scabbard with one suspension ring, also serial numbered to the sabre.

Brown leather sword knot.
