BOARDING SABER, model 1833, July Monarchy. 29522R

Guard entirely in blackened iron with pitch, solid shell made of steel sheet, with illegible control stamp covered by paint. Cap and handle in octagonal cut wood sheathed in metal. Hollow ground blade. Length 67.5 cm, width at the heel 3.7 cm. Anchor engraved on each side. Spine marked "Manufre Rle de Châtellerault May 1842." Natural leather knot. Leather scabbard with two brass fittings, cap with anchor stamp.
