Low-cut cap, made of black wool. Black wool headband topped with scarlet soutache and adorned at the front with a cut brass digit "6". Cap and crown made of black wool with scarlet soutaches. False gold braid chinstrap sewn to the headband with two half-buttoned brass buttons stamped with two crossed cannons surmounted by a grenade. Round visor made of black varnished leather, lined with black sheepskin. Interior cap composed of a black varnished leather headband and a black silk cap with a size tag "56".
