They are embroidered in a curl of golden silver twist cords. The body is embroidered with a shield. Fringes in thick matte twines, lined with smaller identical fringes. 1931 uniform buttons, half-rounded, gold with a burnished and matte finish, embossed in relief of two crossed cannons for one of the epaulettes, and plain for the other epaulette, fixed at the top of the epaulette body, a strong silver metal clasp is placed below, in the corresponding area (this clasp is inserted into a small pocket sewn onto the uniform).
Transport box in cardboard covered with scarlet paper. Medium condition.
France. Third Republic.
Good condition, some usual oxidations.
NOTE:
The 1931 regulation simplifies the grades for epaulettes, now all officers are equipped with epaulettes with soft fringes, senior officers with epaulettes with thick twist fringes.
