Octagonal and then round barrels, length 18.9 cm, with the breech 23.5 cm, caliber 15 mm, engraved and gilded with weapon trophies, scallop shells, and feathered leaves, all on a blued background. Flat-bodied locks decorated with weapon trophies and foliage, signed "Les La Roche Aux / Galleries du Louvre A Paris." Paneled sideplates. Swan-necked cocks engraved with floral scrolls. Walnut grips with long stocks. All fittings in hallmarked silver. Trigger guards decorated with relief military trophies and floral motifs. Counterplates decorated with a smooth coat of arms surrounded by cut-out and pierced flowers and foliage scrolls. Thumb pieces decorated with weapon trophies. Long-eared pommels engraved with weapon trophies, foliage, and feathered leaves. Oval caps decorated with foliage. Relief-molded ramrod holders. Whalebone ramrods with bone tips.
Total length of each pistol 32.5 cm.
