Octagonal barrels at the breech then rounded, 21 cm in length, with the breech tang 26 cm, signed on the upper flat near the breech in gold letters "Jovin a Saumur." Flat-bodied locks, unsigned, swan-neck cocks with flat bodies, all engraved with foliage. Iron pans with facets. Walnut stocks with a long carved forearm near the trigger guards and at the level of the breech tang with foliate scrolls. Cut iron mountings, engraved with military trophies. Counter-plates marked "113" on one pistol and "117" on the second. Silver pommels with long ears, engraved with a fleur-de-lys on each side. Oval silver pommels, molded in relief with a fleur-de-lys. Iron ramrods.
