Body in leather covered with dark blue cloth, height at the front 11 cm, 15 cm at the back, bordered at the top with a scarlet "cul de dé" braid and at the bottom with a black varnished leather chinstrap. Black varnished leather top. Round black varnished leather visor. Sides of the body partially adorned with a black lacquered metal ventilator at the top and a scarlet braid with a dark blue stripe sewn in a V shape. Tricolor painted metal cockade. Front plate in brass cut and stamped with two cannons surmounted by a flaming bomb. Interior band in black varnished leather. Frame marked in black ink "GODILLOT PARIS". Black leather chin strap with black lacquered metal buckle. Plume falling in scarlet horsehair with a braided scarlet wool pompom.
