Steel hilt. Full guard in molded iron decorated with flowers and scrolls. Double molded horizontal quillons. Pommel decorated in-the-round with flowers and figures. Wooden handle entirely filigreed in steel. Braided steel ferrules. Lozenge-shaped blade, length 35.7 cm, bearing a crowned "F" punch corresponding to mark No. 62 of the "NOMINA DE PALOMARRES", with a 5 cm ricasso with scalloped edges, then a pierced blade breaker.

18th-century style, late 19th-century manufacture.
Very good condition, slight damage to the tip of the blade.
