SIGNED LEPAGE PISTOL, Ancient Monarchy, circa 1760-1780. 30099
Octagonal breech turning to round barrel, ending with a lip at the muzzle, length 12.5 cm, with the breech tang 16.6 cm, caliber 12 mm. The octagonal part of the barrel and breech tang are engraved and gilded with foliage on a blued background. Flat-bodied lockplate signed "LEPAGE" and decorated with scrolls, foliage, and flowers. Carved walnut stock with acanthus leaves at the back of the breech tang and silver wire inlay. All steel fittings engraved with a floral design. Long-eared pommel with a round cap. Iron ramrod.
Overall length of the weapon 24.5 cm.

Good condition: on one side, a repair along the ramrod for 2.5 cm and 3 mm wide; on the other side, a missing piece of wood 3 cm long and 4 mm high. Ramrod replaced but old. Barrel engraving more recent.
