BIOGRAPHY:
Antoine Robert François de Beauterne was born in Versailles on June 26, 1748. He served in the King's Horse Guards from May 10, 1763, to November 31, 1779. He then became a Cavalry Captain from January 1, 1780, to February 23, 1815. He was promoted to Squadron Leader on February 4, 1815, until May 3, 1817.
Resided in the King's hunting grounds in Versailles. He was decorated with the Royal Order and Merit of Saint Louis on January 30, 1791.
