Octagonal barrel at the breech then round entirely blued, marked by the Charleville Manufacturing with a gold background: "P" under the star of the inspector at Charleville Jean-Nicolas Pache (1814-1815), "B" in an oval of the canon controller at Charleville from 1806 to 1821 Etienne Breuil, and the "F" under a star, stamp of the controller at Charleville Jean-Denis Lefèvre (1806-1815); it is decorated with gold damascene motifs, engraved with a garland pattern at the butt, followed by the large crowned arms of France and the inscription "Gardes du Corps du Roi," barrel length 102.6 cm, length with the breech tail 108.7 cm. Caliber 17.1 mm.
Flint lock stamped "M" under a star, signed "MANUFre Rle DE CHARLEVILLE," brass drum pan; breech tail with a hook.
Walnut stock with a long barrel, manufacturer's acceptance stamp on the oval-shaped stock with letters "MC."
All fittings in an alloy of brass called "Manheim gold," attached to the stock by steel springs, hammers in iron.
Brass under guard cut in the shape of a stylized fleur-de-lis on its front part of the trigger guard.
