Round silver medal, engraved by Barre, depicting on the obverse the effigy of the emperor crowned with laurel, framed by the legend "NAPOLEON III EMPEROR" and bordered by a laurel wreath. On the reverse, inscription "CAMPAGNE D’ITALIE - 1859" surrounding the names of the battles "MONTEBELLO, PALESTRO, TURBIGO, MAGENTA, MARIGNAN, SOLFERINO". Ø 3 cm. Punched suspension ring. Ribbon in silk alternating 6 vertical red stripes and 5 vertical white stripes, bordered by a white edging. Width 3.9 cm.
Letterhead paper from the foot artillery regiment of the Imperial Guard, depicting two artillerymen in color framed by trophies of weapons and cannons, handwritten with a pen at the bottom "Albert barthelemy Conducteur à cheval de la garde impériale". H 23 cm x 18.5 cm.
