Made of scarlet cloth, measuring 103 cm in width at the top, 127 cm at the bottom, height at the front 64 cm, and 81 cm at the back, these dimensions are when the saddle cloth is folded in half. It is bordered by a 3.5 cm wide golden trim braid woven in a stick pattern, edged with a wide golden piping made of a 4 mm wide flat braid, each separated from the trim by 4 mm. The saddle cloth flaps are lined with scarlet leather, scalloped at the top, maximum height 30 cm, width 46 cm. At the front on each side, there is a fleur-de-lys embroidery in silver and gold trimmings, threads, and bullion, measuring 11.5 cm high x 9.5 cm wide, topped with a royal crown measuring 7.5 cm high x 10.5 cm wide. At the back, there are embroidered crossed shining lightning bolts, height approximately 16.5 cm, width 12.7 cm, topped by two intertwined "L" letters in silver and gold trimmings, 16.5 cm high x 17.5 cm wide, themselves topped with the royal crown, measuring 7.5 cm high x 10 cm wide. The saddle cloth is fully lined with blue and white striped canvas. The seat part is made of sheepskin bordered by scarlet cloth cut into scallops.
