BAYONET BELT OF THE GENDARMERIE TROOP, model 1872, Third Republic. 27804
Made of whitened buffalo leather with a yellow dyed center, accompanied by its rectangular brass plate with cut corners molded in relief with a flaming bomb and the inscription "GENDARMERIE ORDER PUBLIC". Dimensions of the plate: height 6.6 cm, width 7.5 cm. The width of the belt is 5 cm.
The bayonet holder is also made of whitened buffalo leather with a yellow dyed center, attached to the belt by two white buffalo leather tabs and brass rings.
