BELT PLATE FOR CAVALRY ARTILLERY TROOPS, model 1846, July Monarchy - Second Empire. 27708

Belt plate composed of a double round-shaped brass closure buckle featuring in relief two crossed cannons surmounting a pile of cannonballs, with a flaming bomb in the upper part (diameter 5 cm). On the outer part, a gilded brass ring is soldered for the passage of the belt, while on the inner part, a horizontal ring holds a gilded brass S-shaped loop for closure.
