SMALL DRESS UNIFORM GIBERNE OF THE GARDES DU CORPS DE MONSIEUR, Restoration period. 29997

Wooden case covered in shiny black morocco leather with smooth silver-plated brass flanks. Rectangular black varnished leather strap, height 8.5 cm, width at the top 16.4 cm, width at the bottom 17.4 cm; it is decorated in the center with a fleur-de-lis, surrounded by two palms, and topped with the crown of Monsieur, the King's brother, framed by a smooth silver-plated brass edge.
Black varnished leather banderole, width 5.5 cm, with silver-plated brass fittings: a fleur-de-lis escutcheon surmounted by an oval medallion stamped with a lion's head, interconnected by three chain bracelets.
