Wooden box covered in waxed long-grained burgundy leather and adorned on its sides with plates of gilded brass at the top of which is fixed a ring intended to receive the suspension hooks of the banderole, height of the box 7.5 cm, width 13.5 cm.
Cartridge box flap, total height 9.7 cm, width 15.9 cm, in gilded smooth polished brass with agate stone, framed on its sides and lower part by a 0.4 cm wide relief chiseled rim, and in its center adorned with a gilded bronze emblem representing the flaming and sparkling lightning bolt of Jupiter (height 5 cm, width 9 cm). The cartridge box flap is lined with waxed long-grained burgundy leather with identical flap sewn into the wood for closure.
Thickness of the box is 2.2 cm.

Leather banderole lined with scarlet cloth, covered with a braid of gilded silver threads with four black silk stripes, 5 cm wide. All fittings are gilded brass. An emblem decorated with two laurel branches framing a medallion with a fleur-de-lis, topped with a large embossed royal crown, both connected by three chain gimp loops, with two ending in a fleur-de-lis. A decorative ornament finishes the banderole, an oval-shaped buckle, both decorated with feathers and a smooth slider. Two buckles, each with an attachment hook.
