Gilt bronze hilt, smooth single-branch guard with a relief-decorated crosspiece bearing a medallion with the date "1593" (date of the establishment of the regiment). Pommel decorated with fleur-de-lis and fleurons in the profile of Henri IV, brass ferrules decorated with lines. Completely filigreed silver wooden handle. Relief-molded hilt with the Arms of France on a background of a bundle of standards with a border of foliage and fleurons. Triangular white blade, length 81.5 cm. Black varnished leather scabbard with two gilt bronze fittings.
