Claude Laurand has been evacuated from Spain and sent back to the depot in Mondmarchant, Landes department. He requests that 100 francs be sent to him, as the 50 francs sent previously reached him at the hospital.

Monsieur Deschamps,
I take up the pen to inform you about your health and that of the whole family. Regarding the certificate you requested from me, I am hurrying to send it to you as I was in the hospital. I have been evacuated from Spain and sent back to the depot in Mondmarchant. Please send me back 100 francs as soon as possible, as I am in great need. I received the 50 francs you sent me in Spain at the hospital.
