CARABINIERS BELT, Second Empire. 27058

Belt made of whitened buffalo leather with the central part dyed jonquil, height 6 cm, length 77 cm. It is composed of two parts joined by a brass ring, Ø 5.3 cm. The two ends are finished with an oval brass buckle. Small saber strap 2 cm wide, 50 cm long. Large saber strap 3 cm wide, 71 cm long. Belt plate of almost square shape, H 7.4 cm x 9.2 cm with the curvature, 8 cm without the curvature, with cut corners, stamped in the center with a flaming bomb. Complete with a rear stamped hook "DELACHAUSSÉE" and its scabbard frog.

Good condition, this belt has been modified by removing a rear ring and part of its belt, some elements have been restitched and redyed.
