Uniform in dark blue cloth, crimson piping, closing straight at the front with nine large buttons. Crimson cloth collar piped in blue. Long tails with blue piping and revers. Faux vertical three-point crimson piped pockets at the back. Each shoulder with a shoulder strap in crimson and blue cloth. Interior lining in cream canvas marked "11899", dated from the 2nd quarter of 1843 "2-43".

Poor condition, missing buttons, missing cuffs and braiding on the turn-ups, moth holes and missing cloth, tears, rear seam torn.
