REPRODUCTION OF A GRAND CROSS OF THE LÉGION D'HONNEUR, Fifth Republic. 26396

Star with five double white enameled rays with buttoned tips in gilded metal, diameter 6.1 cm. Surrounded by a vegetal crown formed by a branch of oak and laurel leaves linked between the lower points, enhanced with translucent green enamel, height 3.5 cm, width 3.5 cm. Center in two parts, obverse side featuring the effigy of the Republic with head turned to the sinistral side on a sanded background, bordered by a deep blue enamel band with the legend "RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE." Reverse side showing two crossed French tricolor enameled flags, bordered by a blue band with the motto "HONNEUR ET PATRIE."

Suspension loop made of a crown of two oak and laurel leaf branches, connected by links.

Scarlet ribbon of the grand cordon with rosette.
