OFFICER'S HUSSAR SABER, First Empire. 30693

Iron hilt. Guard with a single German branch. Quillon in the shape of a palmette. Long-tailed cap. Handle in wood covered with veal silver filigree copper. Curved white blade with hollow edges, ridged back, 83.9 cm long. Octagonal iron scabbard, decorated belt loops, iron pegs and rings, prominent molded chape, cut iron ferrule.
