BELT BUCKLE OF THE CUIRASSIERS OF THE DAUPHIN, Restoration Period. 30115

Made of silver-plated copper, measuring 7.9 cm x 7.6 cm without the curvature, and 8.7 cm with the curvature. It consists of a silver-plated brass plate with a smooth background in the center of which the Dauphin's coat of arms is fixed by means of six staples (quartered in one and four: azure with three fleur-de-lis and two and three: or with a Dauphin azure, crested, bearded, laurelled, wearing a red mantle and earred in gules; framed by the collar of the Holy Spirit, the Order of Saint Michael and topped with the royal crown). The surrounding strip is embossed in relief with laurel leaf branches and floral medallions. Complete with its hook and double prong on the back.
