PAIR OF OFFICER PISTOLS WITH SILVER TRIMMINGS, SIGNED "BELLAN IN TOULOUSE", Former Monarchy. 30131

Octagonal then round barrels, length 15.1 cm, engraved and gilded with foliage scrolls, sparkling bombs, and geometric designs, length with the breech tang 19.7 cm. Lockplates signed "Bellan in Toulouse". Swan-neck hammers. Walnut grips with long stock carved in relief with flowers and foliage on the top of the buttstock. Silver thumb pieces depicting an oval medallion engraved "JJL" framed by laurel branches. All silver fittings hallmarked. Butt caps decorated in relief with Turkish soldiers. Whalebone wipers with horn heads.
Overall length of each weapon 29 cm.
