OFFICER'S HELMET OF THE FIREFIGHTERS OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF LA ROCHE-POSAY, type 1885, Third Republic. 24535

Helmet entirely made of chrome metal. Crest with prominent moldings decorated at the front with a grenade with four small ventilation holes, attached with eight screws. Front brass plate embossed with a flaming grenade shield, topped with the city crown and framed by oak and laurel branches, ribbon bearing the inscription "FIREFIGHTERS OF LA ROCHE.POSAY". Black leather chin strap with black lacquered iron buckles. White calfskin interior lining cut into nine wolf teeth.
