FIREFIGHTER HELMET OF THE CITY OF ROUEN, type 1923, Third Republic. 24515

Helmet entirely made of brass. Crest with prominent moldings decorated at the front with a grenade, simplified model type 1933. Front plate with coat of arms of the city of Rouen (silver Paschal lamb's red mouth with chief of France) topped with a city crown, flanked by oak and laurel branches, all topped with a ribbon bearing the inscription "SAPEURS POMPIERS DE ROUEN". Visor marked "11". Brown leather chinstrap. Black varnished leather inner liner with five comfort pads.
