FIREFIGHTER HELMET OF THE ST. JOUIN DE MARNES COMMUNE ENGINE COMPANY, type 1895, Third Republic. 24512

Helmet entirely made of brass. Crest with prominent moldings decorated at the front with a grenade, fixed by an internal screw. Front plate in embossed brass representing a shield with a flaming bomb topped by a city crown surrounded by an oak branch and a laurel branch, and topped by a ribbon bearing the inscription "SAPEURS POMPIERS St JOUIN DE MARNES." Tube-shaped plume holder with a slightly decreasing square section towards the bottom. Black leather chinstrap.
