Certificate from the members of the administration council of the mentioned battalion certifying that citizen PONS FRISON, a native of Digne, is present in the aforementioned battalion where he entered as a sergeant major on the 27th October 1792, and that due to his good conduct and zeal, he was appointed as an adjutant non-commissioned officer on the 9th October 1793. "At Castillon, a conquered country in Catalonia, on the 28th Messidor of the 3rd year".

- Signed letter from General of Division Meynier, commanding the 18th Military Division, addressed "to the Minister of War in Paris", on the 19th Germinal Year 11 (9th April 1803) of the French Republic, united and indivisible. Letterhead "18th Military Division. Headquarters of Dijon.
"Citizen Minister. By informing you in my letter yesterday (Movement Office) of the arrival of the Swiss troops in Auxonne, I did not report to you that they were commanded by Brigadier General Pierre Vonderweidt, this general officer has as his aides-de-camp the senior captain citizens Charles Utinger and François Grevat whose residence is established in Auxonne until further notice. - Handwritten letterhead "Freedom Equality Fraternity / 53rd Infantry Regiment".
Attestation from the Major Surgeon of the said regiment that citizen Charlemagne LEBORGNE, corporal-fifer in the said regiment, is listed among the infirm and unable to continue service. Therefore, he is in the case of being discharged. Charlemagne Leborgne, having received his absolute discharge on the 23rd January 1788, requests, based on the service record provided in the correspondence, a deserved reward. At Rocroy on the 16th Nivôse of the Year 2 (5th January 1794). Signed Charlemagne.
