We, the undersigned First Class Veterinary Artists of the Artillery Train, certify that Mr. Hyppolite Lemaire, Second Lieutenant in the 1st Battalion of the same regiment, has practiced the veterinary art in the armies for a period of seven years prior to his officer appointment. We further certify that his zeal and accuracy in practicing this art have always been rewarded with success.

Aniel and Moniz, veterinary artists, and further attests that it is within his knowledge that Mr. Lemaire Hyppolite has successfully practiced the veterinary art for several years while serving as a non-commissioned officer in the 1st Battalion Company of the Artillery Train.
