Brass hilt. Four-branch guard, with main guard branch marked "994" and three (unreadable) stamps. Cap with short tail. Handle in wood covered with black waxed calf leather, brass filigree. Slightly curved blade with hollow facets, stamped with a "B" surrounded by a chain of the first-class controller J.A. Bisch, March 1825-July 1834, and another stamp (unreadable), back of the blade signed "Manufre Rale de Klingenthal 7bre 1829 s.a," length 97.1 cm. Scarlet wool scarf. Iron scabbard with two sling rings likewise marked to the saber.
