Mounting in silver metal. Guard with a single branch decorated with a prominent molding. Ears decorated at the front with a trophy of arms and in the back with a spider web. Cap with a short scalloped tail in relief, known as "melon ribs." Handle in finely checkered ebony. Curved blade with hollow flats engraved and gilded with trophies of arms and floral decorations on a blued background, it bears the artisanal engraving "LA BOUCHETIERE - VENDÉE 1799," length 86.3 cm. Silver-plated brass scabbard with two suspension rings engraved with a vertically striated frieze, each framed by engraved acanthus leaves, iron drag.

NOTE:
Janvre, also known as La Bouchetière, a captain of the navy and a knight of Saint Louis, served in the army of Vendée, and was proposed as a commissioner in 1825.
In the composition of the Catholic and Royal army, an officer by the name of La Bouchetière is listed for the years 1793-1799. He commanded an independent army.
