"We, Brigadier General, commanding the Seine department and the city of Paris, with the approval of S.Ex. the General in Chief, Governor of the 1st military Division, authorize Mr. Jallasson, lieutenant in the 10th Light Infantry Regiment and admitted to half-pay, to remain in Paris, his usual place of residence. Paris, twenty-fifth of October 1814."

"The administrative council of the 10th Light Infantry Regiment certifies that Mr. Jallasson (Louis), second lieutenant of the 25th Light Infantry Regiment, having not participated in the organization of the 10th Light Infantry Regiment, was not retained in active service, but was admitted to his home with the non-active pay, in accordance with article 35 of the instructions of His Excellency the Minister of War, dated May 25 of last year. Strasbourg, sixth of October 1814."

PAYBOOK, 25th Light Infantry - Officers without troops for 1815 and 1816, issued in Paris on the 21st of December 1815, in the name of Mr. Jallasson (Louis) captain of infantry, bearing the signature of Louis Jallasson. With the embossed seal of the Ministry of War on p. 1.

June 16, 1815: "Aide-de-Camp Commission" signed by the minister, appointing Mr. Jallasons (sic), former lieutenant of the 25th Light, as aide-de-camp to the brigadier general, Baron Blondeau, senior commander of the cord established on the Spanish border.
June 17, 1815: dispatch to brigadier general Baron Blondeau, of the commission requested by him (described above) for the appointment of Mr. Jallassons (sic) as aide-de-camp.
In this letter, the following handwritten sentence is added: "I have submitted to the Emperor the proposal to grant the rank of Captain to Mr. Jallassons (sic), I will inform you of His Majesty's decision."
June 17, 1815: information addressed to Mr. Jallassons (sic) informing him of his appointment as aide-de-camp to the brigadier general Baron Blondeau.
- 1817: LIEUTENANT appointment:
Heading from the Ministry of War, 2nd Division, Infantry Bureau: officer appointment certification. This document certifies the appointment of sub-lieutenant Louis JALLASSON to the 25th Light Infantry Regiment in the rank of lieutenant in the same unit, by decree of the 31st of August 1810.
This certificate is dated the 5th of March 1817, followed by two signatures.
- 1818:
Letter from Louis JALLASSON to "His Excellency Monseigneur the Minister of War" (duplicate). From Rio de Janeiro on the 10th of July 1818.
In this letter, Louis Jallasson states that he has been on half-pay since the year 1814, during which he wished to return to Brazil to settle matters waiting for him there. He obtained this permission in July 1817 without pay limited to one year; he requests an extension of this leave of absence at the end of this year.
Signed: "Louis Jallasson, captain in the former 25th Leger Infantry Regiment, became 10th at the organization in 1814."

1830, Letter with the heading of the General Staff, NATIONAL GUARD OF PARIS. Addresses to Louis Jallasson informing him of his appointment to the position of ADJUTANT-MAJOR of the 1st Battalion of the 4th Legion. Paris, 15th of September 1830.

Letter signed by Louis Jallasson to a colonel. He recalls his previous resignations and gives his resignation from the 4th Legion.
"Already resigning in 1814, after returning to service during the Hundred Days, I again submitted my resignation in 1815, not wanting to serve a government imposed by France's enemies, and antipathetic to all the illusions of my youth. In 1830, I hoped that the rank of adjutant-major in the National Guard could allow me to reclaim some of the rights acquired earlier. You knew that the miserable 1500 francs pay we were granted would not allow us to step out of the framework of the National Guard [...]. For nearly four years, I see that I was mistaken; I see that after a lease of 3, 6, or 9 years depending on the whims of our leaders, adjutant-majors will have lost the last years they have left to secure resources in their older age and will be deprived of a future, no matter how humble, which remains in prospect for all military personnel or government employees [...]
... I regret leaving the 4th Legion and particularly the officers of the 1st [...] I have been treated with all the possible kindness, I also like to write that I have not deserted [...]
