Gilt bronze hilt. One-branch guard decorated with fleurons, oak branches, and laurel branches. Relief-molded hilt depicting a firefighter's helmet resting on two crossed axes, all on an oak branch and a laurel branch. Pommel molded with a winged Jupiter spindle. Horn handle. Sandblasted decorated ferrules. Triangular blade engraved and gilded on its first third with military and floral trophies on a blued background, length 77.5 cm. Scarlet cloth knot. Black varnished leather scabbard with two gilt brass fittings decorated with foliage.
