OFFICER'S SUBALTERN CAVALRY LIGHT SABER KNOT, First Empire. 30294

Entirely made of silver braiding. Braided round cord, folded in two, length 47.5 cm, attached to a tassel with head and skirt of twisted and braided silver thread, finished with soft fringes known as "well ropes." Total length 56 cm.
