Gilded brass hilt. Guard with six branches forming an openwork shell with a silvered fleur-de-lys musketeer cross in the center, relief fluted quillon. Dome with a short tail decorated with lines. Handle made of wood wrapped in filigreed copper and brass veal. Double-edged blade, 92.4 cm in length, stamped with "AP" from the Paris workshop, signed on the back "Frères Weyersberg à Solingen". Scarlet cloth cravat. Black varnished leather scabbard with three brass fittings decorated with lines, upper part of the chape with relief beading, steel chape at the tip of the scabbard.
