SWORD OF THE FIRST COMPANY OF THE KING'S MILITARY HOUSEHOLD (Gray Musketeer), model 1814, Restoration. 30039
Gilded brass hilt. Guard with six branches forming an openwork shell with a silvered fleur-de-lys musketeer cross in the center, relief fluted quillon. Dome with a short tail decorated with lines. Handle made of wood wrapped in filigreed copper and brass veal. Double-edged blade, 92.4 cm in length, stamped with "AP" from the Paris workshop, signed on the back "Frères Weyersberg à Solingen". Scarlet cloth cravat. Black varnished leather scabbard with three brass fittings decorated with lines, upper part of the chape with relief beading, steel chape at the tip of the scabbard.

Very good condition, mostly missing gilding.
