Polished brass hilt. Four-branched guard, main branch signed VERSAILLES, stamped with a "C" star by Châteaubrun, director from July to December 1813, "V" for "verified" inside the branches and under the plate, "B" topped with a star from the Klingenthal Manufacture by inspector EL Borson, 1814-1816. Cap with a short tail and ferrule on a wooden handle covered with leather. Straight and flat blade measuring 96.5 cm in length with a point in line with the back, stamped with "AP", "CM", and the bundle of rods. Natural leather knot. Black varnished leather scabbard with three brass fittings with scalloped edges, with the central fitting stamped with the star "B" similar to the guard, steel rings.

Fair condition, missing the wire inlay, minor damage to the leather of the handle, later knot, rear seam of the scabbard leather unstitched. Metal elements of the scabbard without their brass clip.
