NCO SWORD AND ESCORT GUARD OF THE HUNDRED GUARDS OF NAPOLEON III'S MILITARY HOUSE, Second Empire. 28077
French model, guard with a single branch decorated with a radiant sun. Pommel shaped like an olive topped with an acorn, the front adorned with an N on a background of a radiant sun and the back with the imperial crown on a background of a radiant sun. Crosspiece with rings decorated with an imperial eagle, black horn grip filigreed with brass, framed at the top and bottom by two ferrules decorated with a series of flowers. The guard plate folds inward, the front guard plate stamped "143". Double quillon in the shape of a palmette.
Triangular blade, length 86.5 cm.

Good condition, damaged upper ferrule, worn handle, posterior filigree, blade with slight oxidation, without scabbard.
